In July 1941, toy production
at W. Britain's` English factory ceased. The factory switched from
producing brightly painted toy soldiers to producing munitions for
Word War II. When toy production resumed in 1945, the Company
produced a wide rang of World War II infantry, artillery and vehicles
painted olive drab. The colours of war return again as W.Britain's
introduces a new range of figures from World War II. The figures
include American, British and German infantry soldiers in action poses.

William Britain and artist James Dietz are proud
to combine their efforts and introduce their first World War 11 "Art of
War Series set. The first James Dietz painting selected was " Seize the
day". The figures from this painting portray activity that took place
June16th, 1944, as soldiers of the 505th Parachute regiment reorganized
the defence of Ste. Mere Eglise, one of the first French towns liberated
on D-Day. Like the Civil War "Art of War" series, these figures will be
produced for only one year.
