Henry V111 Mounted.
This is the earliest complete English-made armour to survive, and the earliest
from th royal workshop at Greenwich set up by Henry V111. Made in about1515,
it was probably designed for parade use in the tournament at Greenwich the following year.
It is unusual in having a steel skirt, mimicking the cloth skirts sometimes
worn over armour at the time.
Single figure.
£22.00p.
