The Scots Guards are the third senior Foot Guards regiment of the British Army. They were formed in1639 as Argyll's Regiment, and over their 350 years experience have born many titles prior to the present one, which was awarded in 1887.

Depicted here in their Full Dress Ceremonial uniforms, the "Jocks" as they are affectionately known, have a well earned reputation as a crack fighting unit of the modern British Army .
