The soldiers who rescued their comrades from the hospital complex before the outer yard of Lt. Chard's fortification was abandoned demonstrated outstanding bravery.

The men of the 24th made a fighting retreat through the burning building, while others tunnelled through walls to make an escape route.

Our diorama shows Privates John Williams and Alfred Hook fighting off the Zulus as they attack through the far end of the building.

This exiting set will stand alone or can be added to our 1998 RORKE`S Drift Diorama.
