KINGS OWN Scottish Borderers

Presentation 2 piece set.

 £21.00p.

Since their first excursion to Namur in1695, the Kosbee's pipes have been heard from Egypt to the West Indies, from India's North West Frontier to Korea's 38th parallel. In two World wars they were heard in the trenches and at Gallipoli. T.E.Lawrence heard them in Jerusalem. They played on the beaches of Dunkirk, on the bridge at Arnhem and on the banks of the Irrawady in Burma. As befits a "Kings Own Regiment." the Kosbee's piper wears Royal Stuart Tartan. The drummer uses the Highland form of drumming for pipe music.
